As part of a Behavior Modification project in one of my psychology projects, my group decided to work with a local zoo to train ordinairy rats to do something new. Basketball. Yep, Basketball. It was a very interesting experiment (and a successful one, too!!).
We basically taught them how to roll a ping pong ball to the opposite side of the box they were on, pick up the ball, and put it through a basket we'd made. There were a few more steps to it than that, but you get the idea. :)
